Contract Audit Trail & UX (v7.3)

Steps

1. Go to Contracts page, click New Contract
2. Select a generic template (Mutual NDA or Service Agreement)
3. Fill in company details, check "Sign now", upload signature
4. Click Generate & Send with a valid email
5. Check recipient email for signing link
6. Open signing portal, sign as client
7. Verify both parties receive "Fully Executed" email

Verify (8 checks)

• Generic templates available (not just CMTG-specific)
• Signature upload works for non-admin users
• In-app PDF viewer opens (not Adobe Acrobat)
• Labels show "Your Company" / "Other Party"
• Signing link email has branded portal button
• Client can sign without being logged in (slug-based auth)
• Both parties receive signed contract + audit trail link in email
• Email includes Document ID for reference

Steps

1. On Contracts page, find a signed contract
2. Click the clipboard icon (Audit Trail) in the row
3. Verify PDF opens in the in-app viewer
4. Expand the contract, click amber Audit Trail button
5. Check the audit trail link from the completion email

Verify (6 checks)

• Audit trail PDF has Fovea branding header
• Document info: title, template, ID, status ("Fully executed")
• Signing parties listed with names and emails
• Event history: CREATED, SIGNED (provider), SENT, SIGNED (client), COMPLETED
• Each event has date/time (UTC) and IP address
• PDF accessible from contracts page and email link

Steps

1. Create a contract and sign as provider
2. Click Cancel, confirm dialog
3. Toggle dark mode
4. Open Share Document modal
5. Check branding settings page in dark mode

Verify (6 checks)

• Cancel changes status to "Cancelled" (red badge)
• Cancelled contracts cannot be cancelled again
• ShareModal: all selects have readable text in dark mode
• ShareModal: all inputs have proper dark backgrounds
• Branding page: labels, inputs readable in dark mode
• Contextual help: ? button shows relevant article for current page
